Winter Shipping Notice

Now that winter is upon us we ask you to be cautious with your orders and recommend you use priority mail services to reduce shipping time. Be sure to include a 72 hour heat pack in your order if your temperature is below 40F.

Holiday Shipping Notice

To give our team some much needed time to rest and enjoy the holidays with their families, and to avoid shipping delays due to the holidays and cold weather, we will not be shipping any orders between 12/22/23 and 1/1/24.

Shipping will resume 1/2/24 with a possible fulfillment delay of 3+ days in addition to the current processing times. Your order will be shipped as soon as possible when we are back from holiday and a tracking number will be emailed once the order has shipped. 

We kindly ask that you do not email us about your order status during this time to help limit further delays for our small team. Rest assured we will be working hard to get your order shipped ASAP. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

Stress-Free Shipping

We pride ourselves on providing you with healthy, high-quality plants. We carefully hand-package your plants with lots of love, but sometimes they can be damaged on their journey to your door. Rest assured, we are here to make sure you and your plants are happy! If your plant or arrangement arrives damaged, we ask that you email us within 72 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of your plants.

Order Processing

We work hard to make sure our orders ship out on time! We ship Monday – Friday with the exception of holidays. We appreciate your patience as it takes 1 to 3 business days to prepare and carefully package your order. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your label is created.

Shipping Policy

We take the time to ensure all of our plants are packaged with love and care. We hand-pack each of our plants in their pot dry to ensure they remain happy and healthy during the shipping process. The dry soil helps us keep our plants from rotting or freezing on their journey to your door. This may cause some soil to move around during shipping, you can simply brush it off your plants and add it back to your pot. We include a short plant care guide with your orders so that your new plants are happily introduced to their new home!

Shipping time will vary depending on the option you selected at checkout, these times are currently not guaranteed due to COVID-19:

USPS Ground Advantage   2-5 business days

USPS Priority                      1-3 Business Days

Free Shipping                      1-5 Business Days

Cold/Hot Weather

If you live somewhere with hot summers or cold winters, we ask you to be cautious with your orders and recommend you use priority mail services to reduce shipping time. Be sure to include a 72 hour heat pack in your order if your temperature is below 40F.

Despite our careful packaging, plants can become damaged by cold temperatures and frost, or extreme heat. Please order at your own risk, Lazy Gardens cannot take responsibility for weather related damage

Refunds and Exchanges

Here at Lazy Gardens we pride ourselves on providing you with healthy and high-quality plants. We hand-package those plants carefully and with lots of love, but occasionally plants can become damaged on the journey to your door. Rest assured, we are here to make sure you and your plant are happy!

That's why we offer a Stress-Free Shipping Guarantee. 

If your plant or arrangement comes to you damaged we ask that you contact us within 72 hours of delivery. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges after 72 hours as we cannot control how the plant was cared for after it was shipped & delivered healthy.

Please email us at info@lazy-gardens.com and include the following so that we may quickly exchange your item or provide you with a refund for store credit:

1. Your order number 
2. A photo and description of the damaged plant(s)
3. A photo of the box it was shipped in

Cancellations

At Lazy Gardens we can cancel your order if we receive your cancellation request before your order has been fulfilled. Once your order has been packed, or shipped, that order unfortunately becomes ineligible for cancellation. 

Incomplete/Incorrect Addresses 

Please confirm that your order address is complete and correct before checkout. We are not responsible for packages returned to us because of incomplete or incorrect addresses. 

To have such packages correctly delivered we may have to charge you for the replacement of plants damaged in transit due to “Return to Sender,” along with a new shipping fee. Packages cannot be resent without us receiving the original package from the courier.
